So I want you to know
that during the last couple of months, something has happened in my life. Something BIG!
I’ve fallen in love. I’ve been searching for a special connection for a while, being pulled in certain directions only to be let down for one reason or another. But during this time of uncertainty, there’s been one constant. One that kept showing up when I needed answers. One that went to work at making me feel better more than any other. I finally let fate take over and handed myself over.
Beautiful Essential Oils and me
You may have been noticing on FYNG Facebook page that lately I have been posting health information, recipes and other material about essential oils perhaps more than I have in the past. I’ve personally used essential oils for a long long time.
I was first introduced to them back in the early 90’s. My boss at the time was friends with a couple of aromatherapist ladies based here in Melbourne. They had just started an essential oil business. They bought their oils into the office one day when I had a meeting with him about something completely unrelated (we were in the clothing business after all!). He thought they, (the oils) were weird, and that his friends were too for thinking they could make a business out of them. I caught the essential oil bug.
These ladies have since gone on to become very successful and extremely well known in the essential oil industry. And I’ve used oils extensively ever since. I love the smell of them (I think I may have been a perfumer in a past life ;)). I love that I can wear them like perfume knowing that I’m not exposing my body to dangerous synthetic chemicals. I love that just smelling them can act to cheer me or focus me and now, I love how they have become an integral part of my everyday life and that of my family by helping us with how we feel physically, mentally and emotionally.
Since I started Find Your Natural Groove back in March 2013, I’ve talked about using essential oils to calm your kids, pamper yourself and use in your cooking.
But recently, I’ve learnt about a particular brand of essential oils that I personally believe to be the best available anywhere. These are the oils that kept popping up in my line of sight. These are the ones that for some reason I kept buying from my favourite natural health shops until I knew there was a better, cheaper way*. I was drawn to them without even realising what was happening. Slowly falling in love with their quality, their purity, their potency and their effectiveness.
I love the way they support our emotions, helping us to feel good when we feel blah, or calm when we are stressed. I love how they calm our digestion when we eat something we shouldn’t, I love how they help to build up our immune systems when bugs and viruses are floating around all over the place and I really love how they help to detoxify our bodies and our home.
doTERRA - simply the best available in so many ways
In the last couple of months, I’ve decided to add doTERRA essential oils to my Find Your Natural Groove business.
First though, let me tell you what made me fall in love with this particular brand….
- doTERRA as a company has the highest standards (in fact, they set the standard) ensuring that every drop of essential oil they sell has been 3rd party tested for quality & purity to the most stringent standards several times along the production line and beyond. I know these oils are safe for my family and I to use in the recommended ways.
- doTERRA are very invested in sustainability and minimising environmental impact - actually working with the farmers who grow and produce for their essential oils, to improve the environment they are sourcing and farming in - now that’s my kind of company.
- doTERRA work with communities in developing nations where many of their oils are sourced, creating jobs and improving incomes in a sustainable way as well as using their Healing Hands charity where needed to improve infrastructure like water, schools, public buildings, health clinics etc.
- And the business model if you decided that you wanted to build a business rather than just use these beautiful oils, is truly outstanding. The comp plan has to be seen to be believed.
Along with the opportunity to work with amazing people who are heart centred and genuinely inspiring, I get to help other women to realise their financial dreams. And if you’re prepared to put in a few hours, doTERRA provide training like you wouldn’t believe. I’ve never seen anything like it in my corporate or online experience. A great opportunity whether full or part time or supplementary.
Beyond Beautiful
These oils are beyond beautiful. They are incredibly effective - they work in ways I never dreamed possible on a physical and emotional level. They are also incredible on a spiritual level if you’re into that - and I am. I am loving using them with my Reiki treatments. They seem to be able to focus and gently strengthen the energy for me and for my clients.
These essential oils have very quickly become an integral part of my life. In fact, I don’t think I can imagine my life without them anymore
