Music Groove
I think its really sad that from the time a music album is released, it’s often on its way to oblivion even though it may include some amazing songs.
It’s an unfortunate fact that even songs that were hugely popular can get lost through the generations. It also happens to more recent offerings particularly with less commercial music. So much wonderful stuff - peoples blood, sweat and tears go by the wayside. Many of the greatest tracks never see the light of day even though they are often the best but not the most commercial material on the album
I’m going to do my best to right this wrong in my tiny way.
As part of my job of getting you to FYNG, I’m going to introduce you to some of my favourite tracks. Some are well known but not played often enough anymore, some not so well known. Some are by big name artists and some by unknowns. I know a few of you will be very familiar with my selections, particularly those of you who, like me, love post modern and contemporary music.
What makes me a music guru? Nothing. I’m not! But I love music. I love discovering music and rediscovering it. It makes me happy and makes me want to move or think or relax and we probably all need more of it in our life.
If you don’t like my choices, that’s fine. Music appreciation is a very subjective thing!
