Finding Your Natural Grooveearly_summer_shine_by_theblindalley-d3fv0p7

Find Your Natural Groove is here to help you find out more about yourself and how your body works! To help you learn to listen to your body and to translate the subtle messages it sends to you into information you can use to make your life as vital, full of energy and love of life as possible!

You might have a great understanding of science, biochemistry and the way things work or it all might bore you to tears. I want to get this knowledge to you in a way that’s fun, quick to “get” and even easy to explain to others if you feel so inclined. I want to be your “filter” if you like.

For way too long now we have been running our bodies on inferior fuel and I think it’s about time we found out exactly what our premium blend is. But here’s the thing! We’re all different! The text book cookie cutter prescription that we’ve relied for the last 30 or 40 years doesn’t apply to everyone. In fact, it doesn’t apply to many of us at all!

We’ve been told to eat less fat, get several serves of whole grains each day, eat less meat, eat more meat, do everything in our power to get our cholesterol as low as we possibly can and yet obesity, cancers, heart disease and auto immune disorders are at an all time high. When you combine our fast, chemical ridden lifestyles with fast, plastic, chemical ridden food it’s really it’s no wonder we have so many health issues. And this has been going on for the last 50 years!

I’m more big picture - more into macro nutrients - Fats, Protein and Carbs in the right proportions (whatever they might be) that provide your body with all the micro nutrients it could ever want or use. However its not really possible to ignore the little things and by that I mean the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients that are so vital to us maintaining our healthy bodies. What we put on our bodies is just as important as what we put in them. We really are wasting our time and money eating clean, fresh, organic food if we insist on using toxic products on our skin and around our home.

I often ask myself “what would the cavemen or cavewomen have done?” It’s about what feels right! Common sense and ancestral knowledge which we can all tap into if we want to! We have evolved over thousands of years from people who didn’t have access to anything other than ancestral knowledge and what was available to them at the time and for sure that didn’t include Google or a supermarket! That innate knowledge of what our body needs is still there if we just look for it!

I’m also really interested in how we can utilise more of our minds and become more “mindful”. If it’s a fact that we only use 10% of our brain and that the human brain is the most powerful “computer” in the world then imagine if we could harness even a little extra brain power. I think there are ideas and people out there who can help us do just that.

I’m here to help you on your journey to a better life where you can be happier, think more clearly, achieve more and live a long and comfortable existence.

Hey and I love music too. I know pretty much everyone does but I have an obscenely large collection of music new and old and I really want to share some of it with you. It’s been proven that music has the ability to reduce stress levels, decrease pain perception, improve brain function and give you a better overall life experience. So if you feel inclined, have a listen to some of my suggestions. You’ll find them under Music Groove/Faves in the menu. And if you’re not fussed with my suggestions, get into some of your own stuff….go on, it’s good for you!

Once you’ve found your natural groove, you won’t want to live any other way!

Join me on this journey and receive regular updates helping you to find your natural groove.
